Frozen Trees Bow Down

Uploaded by: deepwoods

Penobscot, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: These trees are very tired from carrying the weight of so much ice and snow. Along the woods there are many seen bent over and touching the ground. With sub-zero temperatures today, and winds gusting to 35 mph here in Downeast Maine, I would not be surprised to see a lot of these beautiful trees snap and lie permanently on the ground.....firewood for next years' woodstove perhaps.

About deepwoods

deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
