Castine, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Take on an avenue near the harbor on a hot summer day. All the flowers provide a vivid palette of colors on this quiet street. I am sorry I have not been able to participate as much as I used to. I have illness in my family which prevents me from typing as much as I would like, and should be able to. I am hopeful this will improve soon, and I will be back as much as in the past. I hope you all understand. Patty

Thanks so much, Kathy!! We appreciate that! I'm glad you liked the photo. It's a small Maine village, about 8 miles from our home in the woods.

This looks like a lovely little community, Patty! That stone wall and flowers really speak to me. I am sorry to hear about your husband's illness; saying a prayer for him.

About deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
