Caption: An old home which looks as if someone had begun renovating it. Note the skylights in the roof. It would make a nice old, typically Maine home for someone interested in restoration.

No,this is truly an old home. It out toward the end of a point on the Penobscot Bay, and all the homes are quite old....many very old family cemeteries there too. It does look like they had to put a metal roof on it....probably to keep it from falling in.

Thanks a lot for your comments!!

Perhaps that was the intent to make it look old
but yet fix it up. A neat fine! Thanks for
sharing and if it is close by keep us posted
as to what happens with it. Great capture!

About deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
