Steam Fog on the Missouri River

Hartsburg, MO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Steam Fog rises off the Missouri River near Hartsburg, MO shortly after sunrise. For some reason, this particular spot always seems to have a fog plume when conditions are right for steam fog. Not sure if there is an upwelling there, but the plume is strong enough to always create a bump in the top of the fog and it seems to spread out from there.
