The trees are Eucapytus which are evergreen. Perhaps the change in color is due to pollution along the highway, that slowly kills them

Yes, very interesting lighting here - also the intensely colored grass. I am not familiar with vegetation in this region, it must be interesting. The trees look like it's fall, but of course not and not is S. Hemi either. Blooms I guess but the color seems more intrinsic (my detail at present is not the best.) Fascinating
