Thanks November! I actually thought a bit like you did, regarding what was going through the heron's mind, but decided that they had been posed together like that for quite awhile with no action by either party, that I would think positive thoughts and go more in Springsun's direction - all living together in fairy-tale land! Great shot! However, I think the heron was sizing him up. Herons do eat turtles but this guy looks safe because he's too big. I had to add this to my favorites!
