So glad that you all have enjoyed this series, and the other two from the same trip, as much as we did taking the photos and hiking through it all. The weather was so incredible for this time of year, and the colors were so outstanding, that it was too hard to put the camera down. The very next day after we left the park, the weather turned to the long overdue rain, and probably some snow at a bit higher elevations.

A beautiful series from a pretty state that is second only to Oregon, but as a native of Oregon I am prejudiced.

About PugetSoundPost

PugetSoundPost

My husband and I, along with our four kids in college and beyond live in western Washington, but we like to venture further afield when time permits. We have enjoyed photography wherever we have gone and hope to add a little new perspective to any who may stop by to enjoy a bit of our journeys. We appreciate your interest and comments! Weather is also a passion of mine, so please drop by my blog for my musings about our weather here in the Puget Sound region!
