I love the beauty of LA. I remember when my plane was coming in how amazed I was at watching this city unfold before me. However, when my plane left it was at night and I couldn't believe how magnificent it looked. Awesome photo.

Beautiful! Today sure is not as clear as this. Raining constantly since Friday night at our house. 10.5 inches of rain in our gauge since then to current.

Awesome pic of the Downtown L.A. skyline & L.A. Alps. For years the knock on L.A. was that it lacked a vibrant core. That's no longer the case. Downtown L.A. continues to have tremendous upside potential.

Thanks, Kathy! The shooting location (Kenneth Hahn SRA) has a perfect line-up
and is fairly close to downtown. The lens was a 200mm and the air is as clean as it get's in LA,
 immediately after a storm....

Not quite Denver in November, though. :)

Holy smoke! At first I thought this must be Denver; I didn't know the mountains were so close to LA. You must have used quite a telephoto lens to have foreshortened the scene! Great shot!
