Duckie is getting along fine. He has 3 girlfriends, the 2 domestic white ducks and a wounded wild gray goose. He escorts his girls around the pond and when he sees us, he guides them where he wants them to stay and only then he heads for shore, comes running up the hill, quacking all the way. He eats his fill then makes a mad dash back to his girls. His beak is strong now and he can forage for whatever, yet his "bread" alarm goes off. Really a fun time for us as well as for him.

You are going to wind up with that duck sleeping in your bed over the winter.

LOL Max! Seems like my family's dinner preferences interfere with sunset as well, or the other way around! Glad you covered both Duckie and the sunset!

About Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
