LOL MAX! This is so cute!!! You are getting good at training it,,or is it the other way around??? We went out to feed him/her this afternoon,,waited around, calling, and calling,,pretty windy, and did not think it heard us...finally we gave up,and as we were heading out,,I spotted it and the goose pal heading from the south part of the pond to the island,,so we high-tailed [or duck-tailed] it back to the bench area, and we began calling to it again, pretty soon,,he it came,,,I walked down to the water's edge waiting, and flashing the wheat bread,,lol. We ended up at the bench so Bob could finish eating it's treat of bread, and then after some Thank You Quacks,,ran back down to the water and back over to it's cute! We will have to make up a joint custody form,I think Max..I'm ready to kick out the Big Fat Cat out of the basement [where he spends winter],,and put in Daffy! ;)
Awesome scenes here! Tell Mike Great Job!

Oh, he's not our pet-noooo. He just swims across the big pond toward us when he hears our van drive up. He just runs up the hill whenever Bob sits on the bench with a sack, quacking all the way! The one evening we were a little late, he was pacing around the bench waiting. Whatcha going to do? Guess we will feed him until someone takes him home.

Oh, that silly duck...really neat capture!
I'm thinking you may have to bring him home with you, for the winter!

About Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
