Mainau,

Caption: Count Lennart Bernadotte (1909 - 2004) transformed the formerly overgrown park into today's flower and plant paradise of Mainau Island (Lake Constance). The Bernadotte family continues the work he started in 1932, by upholding the well-founded philosophy and by constantly recreating the island anew as an oasis of natural beauty, harmony and relaxation for visitors from around the world. This is their castle. We visited Mainau today and I can recommend it to everyone. What a beautiful island!

About Leelee

Leelee

I love taking photos - even if I don't put them on my wall or an internet site. I have learned to see much more since I took my camera along with me and every photo trip is a bit like a holiday for the mind.I'm happy if you enjoy my photos - but please don't take them and put them on your own website without asking or without a reference to the photographer or this site. Simple advice: Better get outside and take your own pictures!
