Caption: No clouds but there was enough dust in the air (by the way we were sneezing when we got home, it was probably more like pollen) to cause the light to be nice and golden.

You probably wouldn't believe what I to do to get that foreground. Catails grow in WET ground. And I came wearing sandels, not really prepared for a walk in the water. Plus on my way back, I was walking very carefully due to the aforementioned sandels, and almost stepped on a skunk! He was looking at me and had his tail up ready to go. I stopped and stood real still till he mosyed off on his own.

LOVE this, Larry. Of all the thousands of sunsets, I never found a place to include cat tails! 10 from jealous Granny.

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
