Shenandoah Cavernsh, VA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The weather underground in caves and caverns moves at a very slow pace. The sharp angles of the ceiling of this cavern were caused by an earthquake 7,000 years ago. The swirled walls were formed by the rush of prehistoric rivers, and the drip formations have been evolving over the past 550 million years.
