Vacherie, LA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Being from the Pine Tree State, I immediately thought of coniferous trees when I saw the name of this plantation. Silly me! Here in the Deep South, Magnolia and Live Oaks are also considered to be Ever Green!

Thanks so much for looking, and liking, Gayle, Mary, Chrissy and Shirley. This is the visitor's entrance to the Evergreen Plantation, which up to now has only been open for tours by appointment. Looks like they are moving forward with a full schedule of tours now!
