Wind Shear

Uploaded by: Kennebunker

Sunday February 10, 2013

Kennebunk Beach, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The Nor'easter winds curled around from east to north, and blew at gusts up to 75 mph. Because the temps were near zero, the snow remained dry and powdery. The combination created an unusual pattern of drifts and bare ground in the open spaces where the the wind was able to clear the snow away!
