Royal Clipper isn't actually an old tall ship it is a replica, if you will, of the Preussen from 1902. However, it is a fully modernized replica set up for modern cruising. She's a beauty: Link

Wow ! Great photo ! Amazing to see a tall sailing Ship with the light bright on it's Splendid Sails ! Ahhh The peaceful silence except the sound of ripple of the wind in its sails... Too sad to know we now have to put up with the noise off motors and the pollution ! Applause to you for sharing a peaceful moment of solitude from the past ! Should have given this one a 10 !

About

Hello, I'm Scott residing in Hampton,VA on a great little Chesapeake Bay front island called Grandview. I've had a bug for photography, sailing, surfing, beaches, travel and the great outdoors in general for many a year now. Don't want to say exactly how long so as to not age myself. Ha! Anyway, love to get out w/ my camera and capture some of the beauty this world & life has to offer. I can't wait till retirement so that I can get out there & take pictures on my schedule - not there yet, but I plan to keep sharing as long as I am able. Thanks to this community of superb photographers who are so talented & willing to share their talents w/ all of us. Keep up the good work!
