It's more like a few hours per year. They open it from 5:30-8pm. I got stuck in traffic (Busses were all like 20 min late to construction) so got there around 7. I took some shots of the tower, but I'll have to merge them in photoshop. The thing was too big to capture in one shot.

Here is a stock photo of that tower from Google, showing its shape. It can be seen for miles around, and is a local landmark.

And I have been up in that tower on that one day per year and seen that view, though that was many years ago now. Would be nice if you would post a picture of the tower itself; it is uniquely shaped and DOES resemble a witch's hat!

About Fieldofflowers

Every day that I come here, I'm amazed by the awesome photos I see. I love to take photos of whatever catches my eye. Usually my photos have something to do with nature. Insects and flowers have always been a big interest. You can also find me on Flickr. Summer '09 goal: Aiming to take pictures daily, and upload some of my favorites. I hope people enjoy them as much as I do. Most of the time, the fun comes from taking the pictures, more than the actual results. Create your own visitor map! Counter started: 6-21-09
