Charlestown, RI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This is my first capture of Jupiter for the 2013 / 2014 viewing season. I post this hear because weather and atmosphere is a key factor in planetary photography and the conditions yesterday morning when I shot this were fabulous! I shot this at Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, Rhode Island, USA and this photo showcases Jupiter, Galilean moon: Io, and the Great Red Spot. -Scott MacNeill
