Thank you Karen and Duane.

Karen: My grandparents lived in Tillamook and
when visiting, my dad would take me to the old
factory. Back in those days, we could scoop out
a hand full of curds and chomp away. I ate so
many one time that I had a stomach ache.

Still love my cheese.

Julia--This is a very beautiful shot, so relaxing and something I could take a break to. Eating me some tillamook sharp cheddar, and sipping some good red wine. Thanks for the relaxing shot. Definately a 10!!

I continue to be in awe of your pictures Julia. I too am a native Oregonian who is now displaced in Arkansas. I have yet to see any landscapes that compare to my home state. Keep up the wonderful work. Congrats.

Oh my, Julia! It looks to be a beautiful spring day there! We had fog (sea smoke) today, so we must have been at least 50 degrees apart in temperature. Kudos, and AC congratulations to you!

Thank you very much, Eileen, Art and Dianne.

We treasure our green acreage from now until
probably mid-June. Maybe somewhat earlier this
year due to the shortage of rainfall, so far, and
nearly no snow pack in the mountains.

We are looking at a severe drought this summer.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I found and joined Weather Underground in September of 2007. Since then I have participated in the photography group with a great deal of pleasure, friendship, learning and a means of seeing the rest of the world.I am not only saddened, but quite upset at the announced closure of this part of Weather Underground.I hope that other members of the community will join us on FaceBook and keep in touch.I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
