Well, hello there, Kirby!

Always love hearing from a fellow Oregonian,
transplanted or locally.

We got our hay from Gold Hill this year. Beautiful
local and I love the rustic feel of the main street. We were out more toward Sams Valley for the hay.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a nice note.

Julia ... nice shot of our beautiful moon ... thanks for sharing! I have enjoyed all of your shared scenes from Williams. You have been making me homesick for Southern Oregon. I am from down and around a couple of bends in the road ... Gold Hill. Please keep sharing ...thanks, Kirby

Hee hee hee, Kathy, this was taken with my
bridge camera, the Nikon P500. It has a 36X
Optical zoom, plus the 4X Digital zoom.

It's a pretty slick little Point & Shoot.

I do like my Panasonic Lumix a little better,
but for this type of shot, the Nikon usually
gets the better nod.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Eileen and Maria.

This one was shot from our bedroom window
this morning. I wanted the shot, but I
also wanted to stay warm. It was chilly
this morning.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I found and joined Weather Underground in September of 2007. Since then I have participated in the photography group with a great deal of pleasure, friendship, learning and a means of seeing the rest of the world.I am not only saddened, but quite upset at the announced closure of this part of Weather Underground.I hope that other members of the community will join us on FaceBook and keep in touch.I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
