Hotchkiss, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The wet snow did more good for these lilacs than harm. We an always use moisture in Colorado and a good, wet snow is one of the best ways to get it, since it slowly sinks in as it melts, as opposed to just running off in a hard rain.

Wowie! Lilacs and snow! I have never seen this 'event'! My son recently arrived in Denver in a snowstorm! He was coming from temps that arrived into the 90s yesterday!

My dear friend, I have been neglectful lately. Sorry. After my hectic week and rest of the month as well, I hope to get back to a slower pace and catch up on friendships.

Wonderful title for this beautiful shot !
The lilac looks a bit droopy because of the heavy snow , but it looks vibrant and very much alive - seems to love the moisture !
