Hotchkiss, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: One of my new favorite views, from the cemetery, looking much different from the last shot I took from here in February, when everything was in shades of beige. I like the way it looks in green. The two long structures you see are part of the Fairgrounds. The H on the hill is for Hotchkiss High School. The clouds were beautiful on this hot and breezy day. The end of the old, historical barn in front was damaged by a strong microburst.

Thanks for your nice comments, Wanda, Tishu and
Diti! Tishu, I really don't know anything about
those pale hills, but I will try to find
out.

Are those hills (mounds) where the H is? They seem to be mostly the same height.

WOW- what a difference the various greens make to this scene we have seen in February.
The tawny low hills stand in lovely contrast to the verdant valley and the higher mountains with their shades of blue reach right into the beautiful white clouds !
Beautiful shot, Kat !
