Mt. Sopris

Carbondale, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Between McClure Pass and Carbondale, this beautiful mountain can be seen and changes from every angle. It has two peaks which are exactly the same elevation. They don't look it in this shot, but it is just the angle. This mountain is always one of the highlights of my drive. It is beautiful in all seasons. I like that long pasture full of dandelions, too.

Thank you, Heidrun! It was a good day for a drive.
I drove in and out of sunshine and cloud shadows
all the way home.

What a beauty !
A flowering meadow, new greens on the trees in the valley ,a gorgeous snowcapped mountain, blue sky and lovely cumulus clouds- a perfect day for your drive back to the city.

About ColoradoKat

I am SO SAD that WU is getting rid of the photography section. This has been the most wonderful outlet for me and my photography and I have met so many awesome people and seen photography that has been amazing on so many levels, because of WU. Thank you for the opportunities you gave us with your site. Man, I will really, really miss this. :-(
