Rifle, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Near Rifle, the skies got very dark. I had been driving through rain on and off, but this looked like it meant it. The heavier rain didn't actually catch up with me until I got to DeBeque, but it was never the kind that makes driving difficult. In fact, it was refreshing to see rain. Any moisture we'd been getting in Denver had been snow. You can see it raining in the distance.

Thanks, Heidrun! I actually enjoyed driving in
the rain, and kept the window cracked a bit so
I could get that lovely scent!

This kind of rain will do wonders for the soil - soak in and bring out the spring greens !
Glad to hear that you didn`t have to drive in a big douwnpour !
