Caption: The trees are being stripped from the roadside of one of my favorite drives, for the purpose of widening and paving the road. It will never look the same as it did, will be decades before the trees grow back, even if they are allowed to. *SIGH*

Thanks for your comment, Robert! I'm not opposed to paving roads, just felt the destruction of all those beautiful trees during the process was totally unnecessary.
