Gold Beach, OR (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: We set out for a short 5 minute hike and 3.5 miles later ended up at the bottom of a steep cliff looking for the "parking lot" that some trail passers told us about, but it was no where in site. The thought of having to climb back up was too much, but Willow13 (MaryAnn) was thinkin' and called Gilligan (Bluemaster)and Ginger (Sunset Sailor) for help and they met us another mile up the beach along the road. We sure enjoyed our lunch after working up an appetite!!Gold Beach

LOVELY AS ALL YOUR PHOTO! Summer. Stayed at the Gold Beach Lodge with the golf course and on the Rouge River Lodge. Wife and friends did the same boat trip up the Rouge and had lunch many miles up on the left bank. Unbelievable Beautiful Area! Looks like I may finally get rid of my Slammer L---- for over 4 year. She is still slamming me today! Pathetic!
