Caption: Between 2 and 3 inches of rain came down in a 20-hour period from the evening of 8 Nov to the late afternoon of 9 Nov 2006; the USGS gauge showed a jump in cu ft per second from 50 to 650 in the time period. This view is the back yard of one of the homes devastated in the July 12, 2004, flood that destroyed sections of Vincentown, Lumberton and Medford.
