... Elevated fire conditions continue today...

Elevated fire weather conditions can be expected for all of
central and northern Wyoming today as relative humidity drops
into the mid and upper teens across the lower elevations and the
upper teens to around 35 percent in the mountains. Winds will be
north to northeast 10 to 15 mph with occasional afternoon gusts
20 to 25 mph across Natrona County... and northeast 5 to 15 mph
with occasional gusts to 20 mph over Johnson County. Residents,
travellers, and campers this weekend are encouraged to take strong
caution if considering any type of burning activities. Please
follow local burning rules. In addition, in addition, do not drive
off the area roadways as dry vegetation could easily catch on
fire.
