Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions
will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy
levels.

Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes... runny nose... aggravate
heart and lung diseases... and aggravate other serious health
problems.Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is
smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

... Red flag warning in effect until noon PDT Sunday for strong
gusty wind with low rh for fire weather zone 618...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect until noon PDT Sunday.

* Impacts: strong, gusty wind with low relative humidity and very
high fire danger will lead to the potential for significant
spread of new and existing fires.

* Affected area:
in southwest or... the upper slopes, ridges, and major river
valleys in fire weather zone 618.

* Wind: northeast 15 to 25 mph with 25 to as high 40 mph.

* Minimum relative humidity: 15 to 25 percent, locally lower.

* Maximum relative humidity: 30 to 50 percent, locally lower.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
