... Lakeshore Flood Watch remains in effect from Tuesday evening
through Wednesday evening...

* locations... Wayne, northern Cayuga, and Oswego counties.

* Lake Shore flooding... strong west winds will develop Tuesday
evening and continue through Wednesday. The combination of
strong winds... higher wave action... and High Lake levels may
bring increased shoreline erosion and Lakeshore flooding.

* Timing... from late Tuesday evening through late Wednesday
evening.

* Impacts... increased shoreline erosion and Lakeshore flooding
is possible. The greatest impacts are likely to occur in low
lying bays and inlets.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Lakeshore Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
Lakeshore flooding are expected to develop. Residents on or near
the shore should take action to protect property... and listen for
later statements or warnings.
