... Coastal flood advisory in effect until 11 am EDT this
morning...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington DC has
issued a coastal flood advisory, which is in effect until 11 am
EDT this morning.

* Location... District of Columbia.

* Tidal departure... one half foot above normal.

* Timing... around the time of high tide this morning. High tide at
the southwest Waterfront will be at 8:59 am.

* Impacts... shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the
seawall adjacent to Ohio drive and the Hains Point loop Road.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
