Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 8:21 AM MDT Aug. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am MDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am MDT this morning.

* Visibility... around 1/4 mile in the South Platte valley from
Sterling east into Nebraska and also in the Holyoke area.

* Impacts... poor visibility will create hazardous travel
conditions. Be alert for sudden drops in visibility and highly
variable traffic speeds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
