... A line of strong thunderstorms will affect the following
counties... northeastern Mobile... northern Baldwin... southeastern
Crenshaw... Escambia... southern Conecuh... Covington... northern
Okaloosa... northern Santa Rosa and northwestern Escambia counties
until 315 PM CDT...

At 237 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 15 miles northwest of Laurel Hill to Bay Minette, and
moving northwest at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Andalusia, Bay Minette, Atmore, Opp, Brewton, Florala, century,
Flomaton, Stockton, McCullough, East Brewton, Molino, Mount Vernon,
River Falls, Castleberry, Jay, Red Level, Laurel Hill, Lockhart and
Dozier.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
