... Blizzard Warning remains in effect until noon PST Thursday...

* locations... Cove... Elgin... La Grande.

* Snow accumulations... up to 2 inches.

* Ice accumulations... an additional tenth of an inch.

* Impacts... snow and blowing snow will make roadways very
hazardous. Ice accumulations... plus the winds... can cause
downed tree limbs and power lines.

* Winds... south 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions... making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel... have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded... stay with your vehicle.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 am PST Thursday...

* winds... south 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph across the
south end of the valley... elsewhere 25 to 35 mph.

* Impacts... the winds will cause cross winds and areas of
blowing and drifting snow. This will make driving very
hazardous. Also these winds can make loose objects airborne.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
