... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 am EST
Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* snow will continue across the area through tonight with a
   couple breaks in the snow possible this evening. The snow will
   fall moderate to heavy at times late this evening through the
   overnight hours. The snow will diminish on Saturday morning.

* The heaviest snowfall rates over 1 inch per hour will occur
   between 7 PM this evening and 1 am Saturday.

* Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause areas of blowing and
   drifting snow, especially near Lake Superior.

* Expect an additional 5 to 10 inches of snow tonight. The
   heaviest snow accumulation will be from L'Anse and Herman to
   Negaunee and Little Lake. The least snow will fall well inland
   from Witch Lake to Arnold.

* travel will become difficult, especially from early evening
   through tonight as areas of snow and blowing snow increase.
