... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 100 PM CST for
northwestern Houston... southwestern Dale and northeastern Geneva
counties...

at 1239 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Slocomb, or 10 miles southeast of Daleville, moving
northeast at 55 mph.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Dothan and Pinckard around 1250 PM CST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Bald
Hill, Waterford, Clayhatchee, Wicksburg, Hollis Dairy Road, Kelly,
Knox Field, power dam Road, hanchey field and Dundee.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

... Forecast flooding increased from minor to moderate severity...
the Flood Warning continues for
the Choctawhatchee River near Newton (sr 134).* Until Tuesday afternoon.
* At 7:30 am Sunday the stage was 22.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will continue rising to near 24.5 feet by after
midnight tomorrow. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
morning.
* Impact: at 24.0 feet: moderate flooding on the Choctawhatchee River
will affect stores and apartments around Highway 92 near
Clayhatchee, eight miles downstream of Newton.
