... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 1 PM EST this
afternoon...
... Winter Storm Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain... which is in
effect until 1 PM EST this afternoon. The Winter Storm Warning has
been cancelled.

* Locations... Chenango, Otsego, Broome and Delaware counties in
central New York. Susquehanna, northern Wayne and Wyoming
counties in northeast Pennsylvania.

* Hazard types... heavy wet snow... sleet... freezing rain... and
gusty winds.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches... along with
around one quarter of an inch of ice.

* Timing... heavy wet snow occasionally mixed with sleet and
freezing rain will continue into early afternoon.

* Impacts... ice and snow accumulations will create treacherous
driving conditions. The weight of the ice and snow on tree limbs
and power lines will produce scattered power outages.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures... around 30.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet...
or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

... Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

* winds... north 15 to 20 knots.

* Waves... 3 to 6 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 18 to 33 knots
and/or waves averaging 4 feet or more are expected to produce
hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners... especially those operating smaller vessels... should
avoid navigating in these conditions.
