... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST this
afternoon...

* winds... east 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... the strongest winds are expected to occur from after
sunrise this morning through mid afternoon.

* Wind impacts... strong winds may blow down limbs... trees... and
power lines. Isolated to scattered power outages are possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.

... Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST Tuesday...

* location... the coastal ocean waters of central New Jersey.

* Winds... northeast 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 65 kt.

* Seas... 17 to 22 feet.

* Timing... the strongest winds are expected today from about mid
morning through late evening. Winds will gradually decrease
late tonight. Seas will continue to build today. Gale force
gusts may linger into early Tuesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Storm Warning means winds of 48 to 63 knots are imminent or
occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in port... or take
shelter until winds and waves subside. Commercial vessels should
prepare for very strong winds and dangerous sea conditions... and
consider remaining in port or taking shelter in port until winds
and waves subside.
