... Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 2 am CDT Thursday...

* event... a pressure gradient will tighten between surface low
pressure over the Southern Plains and across north to southwest
Texas and surface high pressure over the southeast states,
resulting in strong and gusty winds of 15 to 25 mph with higher
gusts of 25 to 30 mph through early Thursday morning with the
winds increasing and shifting to west and northwest 20 to 25 mph
with gusts to 30 to 35 mph with the passage of a cold front.

* Timing... 4 PM CDT to 2 am CDT Thursday.

* Impact... boaters should exercise caution on area lakes due to
rough chop conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
