... Red flag warning in effect until midnight PDT Saturday night
for gusty west to northwest winds and very low relative humidity
for the Santa Clarita valley and Antelope Valley...

* winds... west to northwest winds increasing to 15 to 30 mph with
gusts to 40 mph in the afternoon and evening. Isolated gusts to
45 mph across western foothills. Gusty southwest to west winds
redeveloping Saturday afternoon and evening.

* Relative humidity... minimum humidities 2 to 7 percent. Very poor
recovery tonight with humidities remaining between 10 and 15
percent.

* Temperatures... Max temperatures of 104 to 110 degrees.

* Impacts... if fire ignition occurs there could be rapid spread
of wildfire that would lead to a threat to life and property.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are expected. This in combination with very dry fuels will create
extreme fire danger and/or fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this red flag warning.
