... High surf advisory remains in effect until 2 am PST Friday...

* surf... 4 to 7 ft with sets to 8 ft in the morning. Swell and
surf will slowly lower tonight into Friday.

* Timing... through tonight with the highest surf expected this morning.

* Tides... high tide near 5.3 ft at 645 am today.

* Impacts... strong rip currents and dangerous swimming
conditions. Sneaker waves may pose a hazard to anyone on
exposed rocks or jetties. Minor flooding possible at
susceptible low lying beach areas during high tide.

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect area
beaches creating potentially hazardous conditions. Anyone
visiting local beaches should use caution and heed the advice of
