Issued: 11:04 PM MDT Aug. 28, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
extreme southeastern El Paso County in western Texas...
southwestern Hudspeth County in western Texas...

* until 100 am MDT

* at 1102 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
between Tornillo and Fort Hancock. These storms were producing

valley. Arroyos flowing out of the hills may become inundated.
In addition, thunderstorms are likely to merge near Fort Hancock
and Acala over the next hour, expanding the area of heavy rainfall.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Hancock...
McNary...
Acala...
and Esperanza.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
