... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 815 PM MDT for
northwestern San Miguel County...

At 722 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms producing moderate rain near Sapello. Though the
intensity of the storms has weakened... runoff may still cause flash
flooding along Highway 518 near and south of Sapello and Highway 266
west of Sapello.

Locations impacted include...
Sapello and Manuelitas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

southwestern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
northeastern Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* until 915 PM MDT

* at 710 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms extending along a line from Ribera
southward toward Encino. Up to an inch of rain on already
saturated soils may result in increased runoff and minor flooding
of arroyos and local roads... including State Highway 3.

* Locations impacted include...
Encino... Villanueva... Tecolote... Villanueva State Park... Ribera...
North San Ysidro... Tecolotito... Chapelle...
South San Ysidro and Milagro.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 222 and 248.
Interstate 25 between mile markers 314 and 338.
Highway 285 between mile markers 223 and 241.
