The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Los Alamos County in north central New Mexico...
east central Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* until 415 PM MDT

* at 218 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms between Los Alamos and Cochiti Lake. Portions
of the Las Conchas burn scar will be affected including Cochiti
Mesa... cochiti and Capulin canyons and Bland Canyon. Storms
producing the heavy rainfall were moving to the south and southwest
and weakening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Both localized and distant heavy rainfall will create dangerous
flows in arroyos and over low water crossings. Do not attempt to
drive through these waters.
