... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Thursday afternoon
through Thursday evening...

* area and timing... northwest plateau and Highlands, including
central New Mexico from the middle Rio Grande Valley to the
Texas border. Critical conditions are expected during the
afternoon to early evening.

* 20 foot winds... southwest to west 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45
mph.

* Relative humidity... minimums 5 to 10 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
