Special Statement
Issued: 12:46 PM MDT Mar. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

A large and moist storm system will impact the area from Thursday
night through Friday night. The most challenging aspect of this
storm is the temperature and thus the snow levels. The Casper
area looks like it will stay rain during the day Friday with some
snow Friday night before ending. Casper Mountain will likely see
mostly snow with 4 to 6 inches possible and locally more in the
highest spots of Casper Mountain. Strong northeast wind gusts of
30 to 40 mph are possible in open or exposed areas.

Stay tuned for frequent updates on this developing storm system.
