Issued: 2:09 AM MDT Aug. 29, 2016 – National Weather Service

... The Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until
400 am MDT for southeastern Fremont... eastern Teller... El Paso and
northwestern Pueblo counties...

At 203 am MDT... Doppler radar indicated steady rain falling on the
east slopes of the mountains and adjacent I-25 corridor region.
Steady rain was also noted over northern El Paso County.
Overall... the trend in the rainfall was slowly decreasing in
coverage.

One to two inches of rain have fallen over the greater Pikes Peak
region... with locally heavier amounts in the Hanover region. An
additional 0.1 to 0.2 inches of rain will be possible... especially
along the mountains and I-25 corridor region in the Pikes Peak
region.

Areas streams will be running high through the early morning
hours... especially Fountain Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
