... Dense fog advisory in effect until 2 PM CDT this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 2 PM CDT this afternoon.

* Timing... fog has developed across the southwestern Texas
Panhandle.

* Visibilities... fog will reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or
less.

* Impacts... low visibility will make traveling difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving... slow down... use
your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you.
