southeastern Williamson County in south central Texas...
Caldwell County in south central Texas...
east central Travis County in south central Texas...
Bastrop County in south central Texas...
Gonzales County in south central Texas...
northwestern Lee County in south central Texas...
southwestern Fayette County in south central Texas...

* until 445 am CST

* at 251 am CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen in
portions of the region.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lockhart, Elgin, Gonzales, Bastrop, Luling, Smithville, Nixon,
Martindale, Waelder, Thrall, Niederwald, Smiley, Camp swift,
palmeto, Cedar Creek, Rosanky, Paige, Coupland, Circle d-kc estate
and cistern.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will cause minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
