Areal Flood Advisory
Issued: 11:40 AM CDT Jul. 26, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northeastern Bee County in south central Texas...
Goliad County in south central Texas...

* until 245 PM CDT

* at 1138 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from slow-
moving showers and possible thunderstorms... which will likely
cause minor Urban and Small Stream flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Goliad... Fannin... Ander... Berclair... Charco... Weesatche... Weser and
Blanconia.

Doppler estimates of 1 to 2 inches have been noted in the advisory
area. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the
area. This additional rain will make minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated... or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
